CUSAT CAT 2025 Registration Closes Today; Exams Begin on May 10

The registration for the Cochin University of Science and Technology Common Admission Test (CUSAT CAT) 2025 is set to close today. Candidates who have not yet applied can do so by visiting the official CUSAT website at admissions.cusat.ac.in. The examination for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs will begin on May 10, 2025.


BTech courses candidates must have completed Class 12 with subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

For candidates applying for BTech courses, eligibility includes the completion of Class 12 with mandatory subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Applicants from the SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Classes) category in Kerala must secure a minimum of 55% aggregate marks, including at least 50% in Mathematics. Other candidates are required to achieve at least 60% aggregate marks, along with 60% in Mathematics. The maximum age limit for applicants is 25 years.


Steps to Apply for CUSAT CAT 2025:

  1. Visit the official CUSAT website at admissions.cusat.ac.in.

  2. Click on the "CUSAT CAT 2025" link on the homepage.

  3. Register by filling out the required details.

  4. Log in to your account once registered.

  5. Complete the application form and proceed to pay the application fee.

  6. Submit the application and download the confirmation page.

  7. Keep a hard copy of the confirmation for future reference.


Application Fees:

  • For general candidates, the application fee is Rs 1500 for up to two test codes.

  • For KSC and KST candidates, the fee is Rs 700 for up to two test codes.

  • For each additional test code, the fee is Rs 500 for general candidates and Rs 250 for KSC/KST candidates.

Candidates applying for multiple MTech and MBA programs do not need to pay an additional test fee, as these programs do not require the CAT.

The application fee can be paid via Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, or Net Banking.


Important Notes:

  • The CUSAT CAT 2025 exams will commence on May 10 and will be conducted in a computer-based format.

  • Candidates seeking admission through CUET (PG programs only) will follow the specific fee structure and guidelines.
