January 31, 2025 Hands-on Training on Wireshark: Network Security and Troubleshooting The CSI chapter and CSE department "Xenotronix" of Rohini College of Engineering and Technology hosted a hands-on training session on Wireshark, focusing on "Network Security and Troubleshooting" for third-year Computer Science students. The resource person, Dr. J. K. Deepak Keynes, Team Manager at CTS, Chennai, provided insightful training, equipping students with practical knowledge in network security.
Guest Lecture on Networking & Job Searching on LinkedIn On the same day, the ISTE chapter of Rohini College of Engineering and Technology hosted a guest lecture on "Networking & Job Searching on LinkedIn: Strategies for Success" for third-year Computer Science students. The resource person, Dr. J. K. Deepak Keynes, Team Manager at CTS, Chennai, delivered an insightful lecture on optimizing LinkedIn for career success. The session covered topics such as profile optimization, networking etiquette, and job search strategies, equipping students with valuable career-building skills.

February 8, 2025 RIPPLE 2025: A Grand College Day Celebration The annual College Day celebration at Rohini College of Engineering and Technology was held with great enthusiasm and excitement. The event was a perfect blend of academic achievements, cultural performances, and inspiring speeches, bringing together students, faculty, and esteemed guests.
The celebration commenced with a warm welcome to the chief guests, Mr. Hiron Bose and Mr. Jayaram P, Scientist-E, Centre for Development of Advanced Computing. The event was inaugurated with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing knowledge and wisdom. The Principal delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the college’s accomplishments over the past year and encouraging students to strive for excellence.
The highlight of the evening was the cultural performances by students, which showcased a rich variety of talent. The audience was treated to energetic dance performances, soulful musical renditions, and engaging drama acts. The diversity and creativity displayed by the students made the event truly vibrant and entertaining.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the organizing committee, expressing gratitude to the management, faculty, students, and volunteers who worked tirelessly to make the event a grand success. The celebrations left everyone with a sense of pride and joy, reinforcing the spirit of unity and excellence in the college.
February 12-13, 2025 Two-Day Workshop on Multimedia and Animation The CSE department "Xenotronix" hosted a two-day workshop on "Multimedia and Animation" for third-year Computer Science students. The resource persons included Mr. Remy Martin, Video Editor and VFX Artist; Mr. Abinesh, Graphic Designer; and Ms. Dhanya, UI/UX Designer from Feather Softwares. The students gained valuable insights and hands-on experience in multimedia designing.

February 17, 2025 Webinar on Generative AI The Department of CSE Association "Xenotronix" organized a webinar on "Generative AI" for III CSE and II CSE students at Imperial Hall. The resource person, Mohammed Yasser Arafath, Government Solution Architect, Sharjah City Municipality, shared his expertise in AI, helping students gain a new learning experience in neural networks, deep learning, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

February 19, 2025 Guest Lecture: Unlocking Engineering Careers The ISTE chapter organized a guest lecture on "Unlocking Engineering Careers: Trends, Skills, and Opportunities" for third-year Mechanical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering students. Squadron Leader Anurag Singh, Senior Radar Maintenance Officer at Air Force Station Thiruvananthapuram, delivered a highly engaging session, providing insights into the evolving landscape of engineering in the defense sector.
The lecture covered key industry trends, including aerospace technology, automation, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and cybersecurity. Squadron Leader Singh emphasized essential skills such as technical proficiency, problem-solving, critical thinking, and adaptability. He also discussed career opportunities in avionics, aeronautical engineering, drone technology, and defense systems development.
